V. Suvorov: Not that the military topic was forbidden there. It was somehow trimmed to fit. This always made me wonder. Somehow we weren't taught how the war started.

When I studied at the espionage academy of the GRU there was the possibility to see the top secret documents and to work in the archives. And somehow something became clear, what I couldn't bear inside of me. It burned inside of me, it tore me off.

At the academy I was taught to seek for the first appearances of an aggression. And after I have collected it all: In 1941 everything was ready to attack. A war of aggression was prepared! It sounds incredible, I'm turning history upside down.

But from all experiments I did the worst ones had to face my father. He was wounded five times, one time very hard. I gave this book to him and said: You fought. You have believed that this war was the Great Patriotic War. But there is no evidence for that. Such a war didn't happen! No way! It was a war of aggression, and we had begun it! We!

(Narrator: Our interlocutors are professionals for military history, candidates and doctors of science. And besides that they participated in the Second World War. They had to experience the results of those high-level decissions at their own body.)


Alexander Orlov (member of the Russian Academy for Natural Science): We have to understand that back then to many people, politicans, militaries who had to make decissions, this what we know today was unknown. This means we have to understand their motives, to look with their eyes on the situation of the past.

Valery Danilov (Professor at the Academy for Military History): We military historians and the Soviet military history in general claimed that Hitler started the war and we took part in it at June 22nd: The Patriotic War started. That's how we were taught. We taught and wrote in the same way. But we deliberately concealed or haven't mentioned enough the events which preceded the war.

Machmud Gareev (President of the Academy for Military History): Right in the begining I want to say with full finality that if one says Hitler was forced to the attack, that he begun a preemptive war, that he was forced to this, and one depicts it in the way like it was a new perception of history, almost a discovery; this is all made up!

V. Suvorov: I work against the institute for military history. It has a huge budget. Colonels and generals sit there and write for 50 years already. This means, I use my whole money, all that I earn, to write a book with the title "The Icebreaker" to disprove all of that what they have hammered into our minds for 50 years!

V. Danilov: The ideology of Marxism is so strong because it made us, the former communists, being used to say the one thing and to do the other. This means, the mass of the people was told that we fought for freedom. Allegedly, we prepared ourselves to strike back the aggression, to fight fascism etc. In fact we conceived plans for attacking which now lay in the safe of the General Staff.

Egon Bahr (Jew and former Federal Minister for Special Assignments and Minister for Financial Cooperation in Germany): Assumed, this was true. What would it matter? What would this change on the crimes of Hitler? What would it change on the other crimes of Stalin? A little bit more?

V. Kalinin: If one accepts the view of Viktor Suvorov this means that we justify Hitler's aggression! This means that we clean that what the Hitler-soldiers did to our country. We speak him, Hitler, free from this responsibility.

V. Suvorov: I'm being asked: "Don't you fear to get murdered?" I say: "Of course not! I live for this book. Now it is published. If someone is going to murder me now this rather will be a proof for that I was right. I was right! They kill me, so what? Never mind! For me this book is more important."

Ausgerechnet Stalin wollte das 3. Reich, das sich auf dem Höhepkt

seiner Macht befand, angreifen ? Nur komisch das das Nazireich nie

angegriffen wurde aber immer selber angriff. Ach soo....die Nazis sind

dem Angriff der Österreicher,der Tschechen, der Polen , der pöhsen,pöhsen

Du bist offenbar äußerst verwirrt. Es geht nicht um Landserhefte, sondern um einen russischen ehemaligen Sowejetarmee-Offizier und Geheimagenten, der nach sehr gründlicher Beschäftigung mit mit der Materie zu dem zwinend notwendigen Schluss gekommen ist, dass die von den Siegern diktierte Geschichtsschreibung nicht der historischen Wahrheit entspricht. Du bist leider bloß emotional aufgeladen und hast schlichtweg keine Ahnung, wovon du redest.

"Geheimakte Hess" ist in der Tat ein sehr wichtiger Film, den jedermann sehen sollte! Ebenso "Über Galgen wächst kein Gras".

Am 15.5.41 wurde der Angriffsplan vom 18.9.40 von der SU aktualisiert und die Befehle für den Übergang zum Angriff erteilt, Propaganda auf Offensive ausgerichtet,deutsche Karten und Wörterbücher ausgegeben.

Schukow warnt in diesem Plan vor der Möglichkeit , daß Deutschlands Aufmarsch der SU zuvorkommt.

"Die überraschte SU " ist danach eine Legende.

Es war für Deutshland ein Präventivkrieg, da die UdSSR in 1941 Angriffsplanungen hatte, Angriffsbefehl vom 15.5.41.

Massive personelle u. materielle Aufrüstung der SU ab 1928, von Hitler als langfristige Hauptbedrohung erkannt ab 1936.

Die UdSSR übernimmt für diesen Krieg die Schuld.
