Well, let's be honest here, there are lots of songs that have the same song title. I think this song has to get credit with the analogies it plays between the life of a boxer and when one is in a relationship. Personally, I think it is an awesome song!

*cough* No one cares! Look, I'm a big S&G fan, and I could care less if Carbon Leaf has a song named 'The Boxer' with ORIGINAL LYRICS! I would, however, if they'd done a trashy cover of S&G's The Boxer. I have to reiterate what kaboosefromrice said. There are a lot of songs with the same title, big deal. Stay off of Youtube if all you want to do is to argue or make redundant points... please.
That aside, this is very catchy tune, I am going to favorite this =)

I'm pretty sure the author of the video has a passion for both the video and the BSG series. The possibility that the production of the song and the series are "mutually exclusively" being both the sentiment and the creative license. In any event, great post sir!

It's an acoustic version I randomly found before I really got into the band. I personally like this version better than the album version.
