I've to ask, How did you cut the can to allow your triangles and your small window for fire wood? Because I was thinking of doing it on a larger scale like a peaches tin or something bigger but able to fit more fuel in.

hey man a little advice i figured out, is that if you have a candle that produces alot of wax, take a cotton ball and dip half of it in the wax. the other half will catch a spark super fast, and the wax part will probably last for like 5 minutes.

Try saving your dryer lint… that stuff is super light and lights very quickly and burns great for a quick fire start. Plus, it free!
-
Also try using pine cones as fuel as I can see you have lots of pine in your area.
-
Try blowing on the fire (blow pretty hard) when starting the fire, it increases the flame a LOT and it is easier to start other logs and faster.

Where did you get the paracord bracelet? If you made it, what kind of style is it?

I like the triangle can opener vents. Nice design.
BTW - I've had a lot of trouble with the fire steel and mag blocks I've gotten lately.
I think the popularity of them has caused mass production of cheaper material.

Definatly the demand has really increased. I use the pherro rod the most and my Army model works great. But my last mag stick was faulty. flint broke right off. thanks vids and info by the way. You have some awesome knowledge.
