Concrete Angel! - Part 3

I ran downstairs to tell mum about my new found obsession. She told me it'd be a good idea to go outside and find some friends before dad got back.

'I'll get you in when he calls me to say he's setting off' she called after me.

I love my mum so much; she understands what I'm going through and helps ease the pain. As I stepped outside onto the noisy street, I felt the warmth of the sun beaming down on me and instantly felt blessed; maybe Glinda was watching and helping. I was so excited to finally meet someone I could maybe walk to school with the next day, and I was so glad when a girl my age came running to me as I sat on the kerb outside my house watching everyone.

'Hi! My name's Lottie! Are you new here?' she asked as she sat beside me and shook my hand.

'Hey, and yeah I am, moved today'

'Wow! We don't have new kid's very often! Will you be going to King's High?'

'Yeah, I start tomorrow'

'Wow! Me too! Want to walk to school with me? I know how you feel, no friends and scared to go to school? I was new here only last year! But I've got a group of friends I'd love to introduce you to!'

'Thanks, I'd love that!'

She was so kind! And very hyper! She reminded me of my old self. I use to be like her; bouncing from wall to wall full of happiness! And she wants to introduce me to friends?! Thank you goddess.

'Good! Wanna play kerby with us?' A group of kids mine and Lottie's age came running over with a ball.

'I don't know how to play and am not feeling too good so I'd rather sit out but thanks!'

'It's okay, I'll sit with you while they play and tell you who's who' she said smiling like a Cheshire cat.

The group of kid's nodded to Lottie and ran back over to the opposite side of the street and threw the ball at the kerb repeatedly, cheering every time it bounced back. Personally I didn't understand the point of the game but I didn't say anything. Lottie was very pretty, and had enthusiasm towards everybody; she seemed to be the nicest person I had ever met. She was helping everyone and making sure they were okay, much like a hyper mother hen on sugar rush. She had big bold baby blue eyes that shone brighter than the sun and always had a smile on her face. She had big blonde curls that fell just below her shoulders, her bangs pinned out of the way of her face. (Lottie was dressed in - http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=28988758). Her outfit reflected how she acted, bright colourful and just downright amazing!

'Lottie I love your necklace! Where'd you get it?' finally starting to let my personality out a little.

'Oh just a shop downtown, right by the cinema, you should come with me one time and we can get matching ones! I know I haven't known you long but I have a feeling inside me saying I should and can trust you with anything, you're a good person, I can feel it'

'Wow, thanks Lottie!'

I hadn't known this girl long but one conversation and she'd brought my self-esteem and confidence sky high, something was telling me we were gonna be friends for a very long time to come.

'Hey Lottie?'

'Yes.... Erm, I don't know your name!'

'Oh my gosh! Am so sorry! It's Melody, Melody Faith. And well, who is he?!' instantly pointing at the purple supra guy.

'Ohh, him? Thought you'd notice him being new here. He's one of the hottest guys in school, Justin Bieber. He hangs around with the group of guys he's hanging with now. There known as the 'hottie herd'.'

'He's flaming off the scale is that Justin.'

'Am quite interested in his best friend, Ryan Butler, he's the one stood by Justin now with the green supras.'

'Wow, he's quite fine too.'

'They all are! We could go on double dates!'

'Wow imagine that! Us with the 'hottie herd!'

Justin Bieber. That name stuck in my head forever, his name was quite different, but that's what I liked. He wasn't just the same, he was different and that's what made my attraction ever more magical.
