Facebook does not delete your photo when you click the "Delete This Photo" button... Do you think Facebook is keeping all our photos whether we did or did not delete them? Everyone is welcome to share his thoughts. let's hope the topic is useful and will be treated by the Facebook Team soon. This video was recorded in 20 October 2009, so this was the case until that date.

  • I typed in the link from the video and I get a "404 - Not found" message.

Sorry, but the poster of this video is mistaken.

  • Jason,

it's note mistaken. I have mentioned in the video that the link will appear as broken after a few days or weeks, and this video has been recorded and uploaded to YouTube two months ago.

Feel free to follow what I said in the video again and apply it to one of your Facebook photos and you will see what I'm talking about.

    Regards,

    Wassim

  • Its Weird Because My Does Not Have The Delete Button:S

  • If you don't have the delete button, then it's mostly because the photo was not uploaded by you. You have 2 options: To click on "remove tag", this will not actually delete the photo, but the photo won't appear under your profile anymore (but in fact will still in the uploader's album). Another option is to send a request to the person who uploaded your photo and ask him to delete. Deleting the photo by the uploader anyway will put us back to the subject we're discussing in this video.

  • @crystina99 Actually, the two are not exclusive. I didn't read them properly and Facebook is a corrupt company. The two statements are fact. You can join but never truly leave. That's not a company, it's a gang.

  • @EmmaDivaOfficial is not corrupted when its written in the 'terms of agreement' is our fault for not reading them. and i feel retarded for not doing it like most of us...........

  • i regreat many things and being on facebook and putting my info there is one of them, are you aware of any efficient method to fix this mistake? Q_Q

  • Yup, I linked to a photo and later deleted the album. I can still view the image by url even though I allegedly deleted it. I hope someone brings that corrupt company down!

  • Ugh , i hate facebook :@

  • Can you retrieve photo albums on facebook ? :/

  • @JasonRennieWTF Facebook submitted the first two years of all posts, videos and messages to the Library of Congress. Get real regarding what they are doing with your information. Google+ does the same thing though at least they tell you.

  • thanks.

i like your voice hahah ;)

  • I got called a conspiracy theorist for informing someone about facebook and how you can't delete your account. I'm amazed! Words get thrown around so easily:

  • is there any way somehow to delete any trace of the pics??? I NEED TO KNOW. i feel really violated....
