awesome video. i did this ride from gatlinburg on 3.27.08, probably right around the time you guys went. i have done this climb the past two years during spring break. it looks like you guys have less traffic from cherokee. i really enjoy the zero traffic for the last 7 miles after newfound.
p.s. did either of you guys climb the trail up to the saucer, or did you have to walk it? i walked it my first year, but muscled through the crazy steep parts this year (and i almost died trying.)

may have been the same day as you, or the day before, we just did the same ride yesterday 4/2/08, traffic wasn't bad. We ride all the way up, no stopping, the view was fantastic yesterday, we could see at least 50 miles if not more. Best in a long time!
