This is a video of a 1961 Comet salesman film comparing the car to two other compacts from the time. The 1961 Pontiac Tempest . This is the original slide show with the original 33-1/3 RPM record sound. Comet dealers would show the slides and play the record for their salesmen to train them about the car and point out how it is better than the competition. LOL at "extra safety of a 2 door" if you teach your kids not to open the back doors on a 4 door you don't have to deal with the PITA of a 2 door.

@ 4:33 - "Tempest has the 'old fashioned' trap door on the left rear fender." Most cars in 2010 still have this today! I guess they thought center filler caps were the way of the future.
