okay so..... that was just really awkward.... and low budget.... and bad. i wish they could have use the resources that was put into making these live action episodes and make just one more animated episode. and no. Ren looks like hell here. don't ever compare him to anime Ren.

I don't care if they look in character or not. What matters is the direction of the show. Their acting wasn't realistic. (let's leave the part where it's supposed to be magical and eerie). But the parts where they bully her are too unrealistic. They could still do better.

The anime will always be better than the live action remake. This was pretty good on my opinion. Oh...and since when does a real person actually "look" like an anime character? Some of you expect more than what's possible. I give it a B- ...LO. out
