Las Vegas Sahara Room Review 2009

2009- I visited Las Vegas Sahara Hotel and I got some surprises. I did not know they have Balcony rooms. They have a great view of Las Vegas and the mountains. The room is basic and anyways, you're not going to use it much. This was Comp'd, so I am not sure what category this room is under or how much it is.

Thats a crap hotel! You should see the balcony I had at Palms

@nusey25 Of course its a crap hotel. Its the only hotel that is from the Rat Pack era. For budget travelers, its a steal. You'll probably have to spend a lot over at the Palms.

Those midcentury concrete blocks on the balcony are great. Too bad nothing like that will ever be built again

@nusey25 The Palms is much nicer and newer than the Sahara. There are also many hotels in Vegas that are much nicer and newer than the Palms. It just depends on what you want. Whatever you want, you can get it there.

This is considered a deluxe room at the Sahara. The Alexandria tower deluxe rooms have a balcony. If you book right during the week you can get a room like this for $25 - $30 a night. Sometimes I stay at the Sahara because it's cheap and I'm never in the room anyway. The House Of Lords Steakhouse has decent food and is real old school Vegas
