Morgan Karr performs his original song "Today" at Morgan Karr's EP Release Concert at Joe's Pub on May 13, 2011.

Morgan returned to Joe's Pub to celebrate the release of his new self-titled EP. An actor, singer and songwriter hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Morgan quickly made his mark on the New York City entertainment scene. In 2009, he joined the cast of the groundbreaking musical "Spring Awakening" on Broadway, in 2010 he won first place at the legendary "Amateur Night At The Apollo" in Harlem, and soon after, he began performing his original music to sold-out audiences in New York and LA at infamous music venues like Joe's Pub, The Bitter End and Rockwood Music Hall.

The evening featured musical direction by Justin Goldner and video projections by James Daniel. The band was led by Justin Goldner (bass), and included Adam Stoler (guitar), James Olmstead (keyboard), Drew McKeon (drums), and Allison Seidner (cello).
