  • top bloke,

give the peoples what they came to see

  • @TheBMorpheus He did, he did a couple of burn outs then the smoke got to the cockpit and he open the door briefly...even the commentators were laughing. I think he wanted people to see that he was waving at them and not letting the smoke out...lol he's a funny guy.

  • @666demonknight666 but he didnt open the door. what part

  • I went to school with Lowndes, and I still remember my English Teacher telling him to forget about cars and Go Carts if he wants a future. Yeah good one Kay Aurthur!

  • needs a lesson from the giz!!!

  • @hoodzzeee Thanks for that info. Not many people (including me) would know the RTA are at races in that capacity.

All this about bringing motorsport into disrepute came from the CEO, Martin Whitaker. He said he wanted to "send a positive message to young people". I sit on the fence with this one. Is it really that bad? Don't really know.

    Cheers

  • @jergi313 RC does slow the cars down if needed. If the train is going to quick ,RC will order the group to split into 3 groups,to slow things down. This happens regularly on street circuits , not just for driver spectator safety but to protect the surface,as it is designed for everyday use not V8 supercars.RTA observers monitor the road surface during the event and if the surface starts to deteriorate will order RC to slow things down

  • Kudos for the little drift at the end :D

  • good on him =D
