He speaks about it briefly in their 1994 video Vieuphoria, but speaks of the experience rather dismissively. He also spoke of the time in a bit more detail in his laborious "Confessions" he released through piecemeal internet installments several years ago just after Zwan broke up. In highschool he played with the bands Hexen and then Coat of Eyes before forming the Marked. There is also evidence that Ron Roesing, the drummer for The Marked, played in the eariest known SP demo tape.

I'm the big guy in the Thor Johnson mask, and the one behind Billy at the end of the video. It was made about 23 years ago in St. Petersburg, FL by my old roommate.
The band where good friends of mine, and I was their roadie/driver/evil minion.
We had lots fun, Man! We were so young back then.
