  • If you are going to call it EFF EEE EIGHT ZERO you really should try to print it as fe80 and not fe8o.

  • @farmerbb11 Good catch. It actually is fe80 in the slides, but apprantly I could have chosen a better font :/ I hadn't even noticed that it looks more like a o next to the 8...

  • Actually comparing fe80::/10 to RFC 1918 addresses is somewhat inaccurate.

    fe80::/10 is equivalent to 169.254.0.0/16, and fc00::/7 is roughly equivalent to the RFC 1918 addresses in IPv4.
