Actually comparing fe80::/10 to RFC 1918 addresses is somewhat inaccurate.
fe80::/10 is equivalent to 169.254.0.0/16, and fc00::/7 is roughly equivalent to the RFC 1918 addresses in IPv4.

If you are going to call it EFF EEE EIGHT ZERO you really should try to print it as fe80 and not fe8o.

@farmerbb11 Good catch. It actually is fe80 in the slides, but apprantly I could have chosen a better font :/ I hadn't even noticed that it looks more like a o next to the 8...
