He said eaters of hashish, not smokers of hashish. I knew what I always felt in my heart. :) here is another gnostic story whereby the legend of hashish was embedded in the story called jack and the beanstalk. Beans were code for marijuana seeds. This is also very interesting for Pythagoras's advice, who was also in a secret society, because it is reported that pythagoras warned against eating 'beans'.
