We're not sure whether F1397 and M1483, a potential breeding pair of endangered red wolves at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem NY, will have pups this season, but the signs have been promising! On April 13, 2010, F1397 worked on a den - a great sign, since pregnant females find or dig dens not too long before giving birth. Nothing's certain, so keep your fingers crossed for pups!
