  • Wrong, WCCW was much more well known and was broadcast all over the world, where as Stampede was never anything more than backwater territory up in Canada which very few people ever got to see.

  • Mid-South, WCCW, & Georgia. They were wrestling at its best!

  • Kevin should had said I'm a Von Erich my dad owns this promotion the women think we are cute we are the top baby faces. We are going to win.

Hayes still got me excited 30yrs after with representing Atlanta GA.

  • @jerzeefranky3475 The Braves won the NL West Division and made the playoffs in '82 under Torre in which they lost to the Cardinals in the NLCS. This promo looks to be made around that time. Good catch!

  • I'm thinking that the Braves were managed by Joe Torre at this time...I'm guessing when he mentioned the Braves being able 2 do it in October...this is when they had their 1st ever Playoff run b4 their runs in the 90s & 2000s under Bobby Cox...I'm just speculating...

  • @AlbanianMan Stampede Wrestling was a world renowned promotion that proved to be a solid training ground for many eventual WWF stars, but that too was regional, much like WCCW or Mid-Atlantic Wrestling.

  • i still remember working the sportatorium in dallas. we had to turn fans away every week by 7 o'clock! matches were at 8

  • wccw and mid south were the best no doubt

  • Nah. ..Stampede was good in Canada but never reached that far outside of Canada, it was legend but it was also a private niche.

  • Wrong, Stamped was the best of the 80s.
