The Philips Stadium has been the home stadium to PSV Eindhoven since it was founded in 1913. Meanwhile, the stadium has been modernised and is a particularly pleasant venue located in the centre of Eindhoven. In 2000, UEFA Euro 2000 Championship matches were played at this stadium and in 2006, it hosted the UEFA Cup Final between Middlesbrough and Seville. The stadium currently has a seating capacity of 35,000 -- fully covered and heated. In 2018, the stadium's seating capacity will be expanded to hold 44,000 fans.
