To me he'll never really be Edward. I mean, he's probably as close as we can get, but he'll never be "Edward" mostly because the picture in my head (and everyone else's) will be different. Or anyone that doesn't look for some sort of base in an existing person. The Edward in my imagination will always be Edward. I don't blame people for having to be convinced. He's great in the role though. I can't wait for the movie.

Hes probley just tired of it, he gets asked these questions over and over could you imagine it would get boring, i didn't find him all that monotone considering i thinks hes very nice.

Great interview. Fans come up with some of the most interesting questions. Most TV interviewers just keep coming up with the same questions over and over again. It must be boring for the actors.

haha hes so monotone when a new person gets on the phone. they're all like "hey rob! im so and so from this and that" rob: (sleepily and bored) "hey"

rob: (monotone)"sure"

-no he didn't bet to read twilight

-he read it after he did the audition bc he really liked the part

-i personally think that he did like doing twilight, but hes just tired of all the publicity, especially since he was relatively unknown before this
