At the National Corvette Museum's C5/C6 Bash on Friday April 29th, the first three Corvettes of 2012 were unveiled to Corvette owners and enthusiasts. The Centennial Edition celebrates the 100 years since the founding of Chevrolet. In the video, Centennial Edition Grand Sport Convertible, Z06 and ZR1. The paint is called Carbon Flash Metallic and as you will see, it really shines in the sun

There is no "limited run" models in american cars tho. Its not like GM can afford turning down a 100 000 dollar customer.

  • I'm a sucker for limited run models

  • @92rednotch As a C6 Z06 owner should you really care? You have a 505hp corvette, and the people that actually care about cars know what is what. Just like Jay Leno says about his mclaren F1. Most people dont know what it is and think its some kit car, but the people who really know about cars probably pee their pants if they saw it. What do you want chevy to do? A corvette is a corvette. Some people think the ZR1 has to much stuff on it, which I think is dumb. Z06, ZR1's are amazing!

  • @greendude33 I agree with u, but those cars are in a sense exotics for the wealthier folks. The z06 is my exotic and to me having two other cars that are so similar, but not the same just kinda takes away from that effect for me.

  • @92rednotch Isnt the same true for so many European cars these Corvettes compete with? Most people cannot diferentiate a Gallardo from a Superleggera or a F430 from the Scuderia or a regular Carrera from a 911 Turbo. I also guarantee non car people cannot tell a V8 Audi R8 from a V10 Audi R8 and they definetely will never be able to tell a DB9 from a DBS.

  • @92rednotch uhm theres a huge difference between the GS and the Z06. Theres another big difference between the Z06 and ZR1. Unless you buy the Z06 Carbon.

  • As a c6 z06 owner i wasn't too happy with the fact that GM made the new grand sport look so similar to the z06/zr1. Its bad enough that most people already cant differentiate one corvette from another.

  • I prefer the coupe over the convertible.

  • best corvette evar

  • BEST! CAR! EVER!
