  • "Mammy Mighty Whitey"?

I guess it is quite OK to say something like that. No double standards right?

  • @ThomDarc Mammy and Mighty Whitey are two different things. Also, Mighty Whitey is a legitimate trope. So what double standard are you implying?

  • @MelinaPendulum How odd. I've never heard it before. Thanks for the info.

  • @CarFox6 Well yeah, it was entertaining.for a time I hated Dylan cuz of max/fang & he has no personality. but now I don't like max enough to care who she's w/. I actually like the Maya/fang thing, it's interesting. I like fangs gang cuz I felt they needed some fresh characters. If fang/Maya goes beyond just physical attraction, I think we could have something (fax is growing old. Heavy fax shipper until after book 3DX

  • @Maikkacrackshiper13 I really liked the series, until Dylan came into the equation. After that, I could tell that Pattinson was just getting desperate for ideas. A mutant created to be Max's perfect other half? Really? What is even the purpose? It's not profound literature or anything, but I think it's just a quick, fun read.

  • @DestinyHollow the last few books suck. the characters now suck:

max- go lighter on the snark, you're annoying me, plus you cry too much.

fang- no longer interesting. his new fang gang is now the highlight of the series how sad is that?

iggy-used to love, now he's annoying too..

    nudge-ughDX.

    ella-now just annoying too.

worst is ANGEL she is the creepiest kid i have ever seen & i swear she has a heel-face revolving door cuz she wont stop switching sides aaaaarrrgggghhhhDX!!!!!!

  • @DestinyHollow oh i read some of those maximum ride books i really liked it at the beginning. like the first 2 or three books cuz while they were incredibly cliche they were a lot of fun to read. i didn't even bother to read the ones that went all enviromentalist on us, too borig. i picked up again on fang & angel, & the plot of angel goes ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE! they learn like nothing new. plus i dont like any of teh characters anymore. everyone is incredibly annoying.

  • I would like to hear your thoughts on one of my favorite middle grade books The Mysterious Benedict Society and I would also like to hear your thoughts on the horrible Maximum Ride series

  • *shit the 1st list is worst books not best. The 1 w/ the help & mockingjay, fallen & angel.'worst books not bestXD

  • Best books: Paranormalcy (funny & good for a YA. The protagonist is an action girl yet girly, & stalkers r portrayed as creepers). Lord of the flies (I h8 the characters in this book but that's y I like it... It's smart w/ nice action & Simon is amazingXD)... Princess bride (really funny. 'Nuff said). Hunger games. (likable characters & action-packed, even if the dystopia is f**ked up). & finally pride & prejudice. (the entire book is so witty & charming I literally lolled sumtimes)

  • Best books I've read this year: the help (I likethe fluffiness, but h8 that every1 thinks its progressive wen it's not). Angel (part of maximum ride novels. Boring as fuck. The books were good if not cliche in the beginning but the characters hav been flanderized beyond repair & the plot is environmentalist & stagnant) fallen (boring. Refused to finish) mockingjay (really bad ending 2 a good beginning)

  • I recently found out my friend actually LIKES the book hush hush.... I wanted 2 just tear my hair out in frustration I was like whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??? My friends like fallen 2, & I'm just like. You guys r he biggest bunch of hypocrites I've ever seen. You h8 on twilight 4 the exact same reasons u love fallen & hush hush. I was in despair... I'm just like: "in my entire school. I am truly alone. I thought my friends were better than YA crap but no, their a bunch of hypocritesDx"

  • @MelinaPendulum I think It would be great if you were to do a video explaining the YA cliches, just to see what you think is over done and what is annoying in that genre
