Police Captain Paul Fields was recently suspended for two weeks without pay because he refused to attend a "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" event at the Islamic Society of Tulsa -- an event that was nothing more than Islamic proselytizing.
Imagine the outcry from the ACLU, liberals on college campuses, and newspapers like the New York Times, if the Tulsa police department ordered a Muslim police officer to attend a "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" during a Sunday morning Christian church service.
In response to this assault on Captain Fields' constitutional rights, our friends at ACT! for America (www.actforamerica.org) launched a national campaign to publicize this outrage and put pressure on the city of Tulsa to fully reinstate Captain Fields. • If the officer happens to be working that day and he's told to go there then he needs to go. Officer Paul Fields can stick his religious bullshit up his ass.

  • @policecrimescom The problem is that it is there religious BS that needs to be shoved up their asses! If no one likes it then they can live in the Middle East and be told what to do and who to pray to and when.

  • @policecrimescom but the liberals keep saying their is separation of church and state

why should he be forced to attend a Muslim Hosted Prayer Service?

  • @policecrimescom It's liberals like you who are bullshitting everyone.

  • Both of u have good points.

  • Muslims are deceived that means they believe a lie to be the truth,we should not hate them, but rather be compassionate to them just as God has had compassion on us as we too were once without Christ in the world.I don't blame the police captain for not going it should be his choice.

  • another religious quack, good riddance

  • another religious quack, good riddence

  • who is the white women "presenting" as a moooooslim, what a joke.

  • here in america yes you have the right to practice whatever you want, but when your religion starts interfering with peoples personal choices then i have a bit of a issue, not everybody feels like girls need to wear hijabs or buras and if they dont they get punished or threatend with death or stoned. not everybody feels like the "Prophet muhammed" deserves their respect and admiration, practice what you will and leave the rest of us ALONE!

  • He has the right to choose whether or not his officers should attend a religious event, nobody should be made to attend religious services at a mosque, church, jewish temple or anything they dont want to. What they did to captain fields is called oppresion.and im just wondering how much longer will it be before the community is told that they have to attend a muslim event and if they dont they will be punished, fined, or arrested?

  • @policecrimescom I understand that it was a "community" event intended to "honor" the police, but any such event can be held by any organization who chooses to do so. How about I and my company hold an event to honor the chief? How about ever single church in town do the same? How many events is this chief required to attend, now that a Muslim organization has set the precedent? If he was not required to be there in the OFFICIAL conduct of his duties, then he was not required there at all.
