Beezus and Ramona are disgusted when they find out what their dinner's mystery meat really is. After refusing to eat it, their parents suggest they make dinner for the family the next night.

  • mmmm tongue LOL

  • As a kid I didn't like him, as an adult I applaud him. I spent a lot of time griping over whatever my mother made for me (sometimes putting out a lot of effort), I now (at age 29) spend making that food myself and to be honest, Lean Cuisine does more cooking than I do. I spend my afternoons/evening teaching kids at a performing arts school now and I LOVE his calm way of handling this. Great for a lesson. Tongue was what they could afford-the message was to accept that. It didn't kill anyone.

  • they used chili powder in the place of paprika, not yogurt. whats so gross about touching raw meet?

  • i read about this in a chapter in ramona quimby, age 8 and it wasn't the comics they usually fought about, it was the "Dear Abby," letters they usually fought over. and it didnt say anything about mati hari until ramona's world. and plus it was moby dick mrs.quimby was reading not mati hari. how could they expect it to work? there parents were going to figure out some time.they way the fridge was set up back then was very strange.

  • they don't seem too concerned about cross-contamination.

  • @littlebugkf This was my favorite episode as a kid too...and inspired me and my sister to cook dinner for our parents one Sunday when we were 10 - and it wasn't punishment!
