Classical guitarist, Stevan Jović was born in Šabac (Serbia). He began playing classical guitar at age eight and soon started performing in public. Stevan grew up in a family of musicians, and was surrounded with guitars that his father and his uncles played. During this period he was playing classical music while still absorbing various musical styles including traditional Balkan folklore and Gypsy musical tradition...
