The Pillows Live N.A.P. Tour at Speakeasy

A little bit ago, I saw the pillows live in Osaka at Big Cat for their Horn Again tour. Being the only white guy in the audience, I attracted their attention.
Then September 13th I had a chance to see them in Austin, Texas. When I talked to Manabe after the show, I told him that I saw them live in Osaka, and he remembered me and told the others.

Of course the show was amazing. Almost all of the songs that they played were my favorites, including: Carnival, Funny Bunny, Instant Music, Last Dinosaur, Blues Drive Monster, Swanky Street, and many more.

The opening band, All Ages, deserves to be mentioned. They were really good, and had a lot of energy. They had a great performance. The bass player stripped down to his underwear by the end of it...which was a little weird, but hilarious. Then they gave their cd's away for free. Anyway, check them out too. All Ages (they're American).

The Noodles were there too. They're a popular all girl band from Japan. They were really cute, because they had these short sentences prepared in English to introduce themselves, but they had to read them off a piece of paper. haha

@kayanomae yes, I am so lucky! I couldn't believe when I heard that they were coming to Austin, Texas just one month after I came back from Japan!
