  • For this project we use multicast sockets where every node works as client and server at the same time. But this year we make another project ZOMBIRIS (search in Youtube) and use RakNet library instead of the multicast sockets. And believe me : it's muche more simpler with RakNet.

  • C++/OpenGL FTW!

    did you use some partition methods? (Octrees)

  • No, only euclidian distance computations

  • BEST FUCKIN MUSIC EVER!!!

  • Very glad you like it, especially since it's my own band ...

  • rwwwwwaaaaaa iam a murloc xD

  • the name didn't make me think about crysis at all

  • UDP? *Shudders* Why!?!?!?!?!?!?

    TCP! TCP! TCP!!!!!!!!

    UDP is terrible! lost data, data sent twice, and even data not sent at all! TCP takes responsibility for the data! It makes sure it is sent EXACTLY how it needs to.

  • @sandiris PLEASE GIVE SOURCE CODE!!!!

  • I wonder if you have used any libs like irrlicht etc. or if you have made everything, even model loading and collision from the ground up? Is there a chance of getting the source code?

    However, great job dude ;)

  • @sandiris huh. I wasn't aware of that feature of the software. Thanks!

  • @sandiris huh. I wasn't aware of that feature of the software... Thanks!

  • Noobish question, but how do you load models? It is kind of a trivial thing these days, and I can't seem to figure out how.
