Wow good job, great score, and beautiful horse. And I think I was at the same show but I wasn't showing. Was this at Hits in Ocala,Fl?

that horse is gorgous and jumps beautifully but you had a few skip changes how much do you think that counted agenst you..? But great job!

They weren't skip changes, he was just a step or two late behind. It was time to get his hocks done. The late change isn't desirable, but his overall quality was so nice in this round, the judge still scored us an 85.

wow. that was amazing! so effortless, gorgeous horse, amazing equitation (even tho it was jumpers, yes?). i'm not surprised you won at all.

Thanks for the complement, but actually this is a Hunter Classic. My horse is definitely not a jumper - his brain would explode if I asked him to go that quick. :)

just another question: why the long coat? isn't hunters with the shorter hunt coats?

The Shadbelly is appropriate attire for Hunter Classics - which this class was. It is fun to wear the more formal coat for the Classics every so often at the BIG shows1
