We will be converting our name from ASCII(Keyboard language) to Binary(Computer language) and learning everything we really need to know about binary.

  • okay now i know how it works... how can i use it to anything? to program something or just something?

  • @Muse94Muse

Well I'd really recommend against programming with binary use assembly if you want to program that close to the computer, other wise use C/C++. The main thing people will use it for is to impress there friends or encrypt notes to there friends.

  • theres one 8 in 12?

    wutta u mean?

do u plus every possible outcome?? plz explain i get it all minus that..

  • @1stBONER

    1/2

Say you have a "a" which in ANSII is decimal 97. You need to convert the 97 to base 2 in binary for computers we use bytes which is a set of 8 bits a bit is just a 1 or a 0. In base 2 the number to the right has a value of 1 and each number to the right doubles the proceeding so if you have a 6 the number to the right is 12 have a 2 next is 4 etc..

  • @1stBONER 2/2 So it goes like 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1 Now you just subtract values, if the number is positive it is a 1 other wise it is a 0. 128 in 97 is 0 64 in 97 is 1 take away the 64 from 97 you have 33 32 in 33 is 1 take away the 32 from 33 you have 1 16 in 1 is 0 8 in 1 is 0 4 in 1 is 0 2 in 1 is 0 1 in 1 is 1 take away 1 from one and you have 0 So now we have 0110001 in binary the way I showed in the video is only used to write characters, not actually teaching real binary in a sense.
  • 01000011 01001111 01001100 01000010 01011010 can u figure out my name? if so read this 01011001 01001111 01010101 01000001 01010010 01000101 01000001 01001110 01000101 01010010 01000100
