@mattb609 actually its a modified p-51D. the P variant had a teardrop canopy, the B has a 'raised back' to where the cockpit is blended into the fuesalage.this is just modified for racing. i dont know alot so dont criticize me.

@gowill2 and you would be wrong. Dago Red started life as P51D model, been following it since I was built.

According to the history of Dago Red, it started out as a P-51D. Now, I'd say it is more Dago Red than Mustang.

@mattb609 believe its a P-51c..... just sayin. P-51Cs were the first set with merlin engines and didnt have the bubble canopy.
