Short live clip of When The Wolves Cry by Theatres des Vampires, when fronted by Lord Vampyr.

If anyone has any very old live footage of Theatres des Vampires gigs I would love to see them. This short clip is not recorded by me, but can be found during the interview with Sonya Scarlet on the Addiction Tour DVD.

Here's hoping Sonya is ok and TdV will return soon. And also good luck to Lord Vampyr and his new album which is out soon.

TDV in 1997 was a cheap underground band..

TDV today is between the major Gothic Metal in the schene..

Today have an huge follow of audience.. and it's normal that they changed a bit..

They cannot propose the same old thing as 12 years ago..

The world is moving.. everything is changing..

Now they are big.. and they still are vampiric.. they are just changed..

The band of lord Vampyr is totally underground.. how you can compare with TDV?????

I totally agree with the statement that "Lord Vampyrs band is totally underground". Even his record label is underground.. too underground!.. too elusive! They take my money for pre-order of Carpathian Tragedies a long time ago, but I never receive the album, and they are so hard to contact and get an answer. Same with many other people. It is a big shame. For the music I have heard of the new album, I do like.

It is good that TdV are not so underground any more. They always answer mails quickly. Their music is easy to find and buy. There is a place in my heart for all the music they have made over the years, I like many different styles of music, and I like the vampyric themes. TdV are bigger now, they are making great music, and are good to their fans.

@charlottevard "This ugly singer" isn't with the band for already 7 years. The band has stopped blootletting for already 6years and I really don't care about their music style.. It hasn't got anything to do with sucking blood or something, This performance is already 9 years old, you can't just compare it. And you can't just say "listen to real black metal", since I think Theatres des Vampires has been a good band in the black metal scene.. Today they're in gothic metal, but that's uninteresting
