I don't think this will help McCain. Americans are waking up to the neo-con goal for world domination. Bush backed Georgia's military action in South Ossetia which started all the fighting. This war has King George written and CIA all over it.

I think the McCain campaign is going to use this event to their advantage in the up coming conventions.
"McCain... he knows how to fight wars!,
Vote McCain"
The whole purpose is to stop this event from sparking a war in the 1st place, Georgia (Apparently) started it because they thought the US would protect them no matter what the circumstances.
