I was looking at the hand-valve and it made me think of a funny story. When I was driving for Les Schwab they still had cabover Pete's. The hand-valve is on the dash instead of on the steering column. One time a friend and I were climbing Warms Springs, heading to Portland. As we were only going 25/30, he pulled up on my left and wanted a dinner roll I had. He ran his air window down and I tossed him a roll...............which he missed and hit the hand-valve. It took him 5 miles to catch up!
