@sanders8323 Yeah, that's what it is. My neighbor has that kind of bathroom.
-
@toiletfan1 and @sander8323 yeah ill try! :)
-
nice flush on the first one.
-
@Paulywint Yeah two half baths joined together by a room with a tub. I think they call that a jack-and-jill bathroom if I'm not mistaken. Or maybe that's a bathroom with two bedrooms on either side.
-
@toiletsrock44 My grandma had a Saharah as well. I don't believe there's a video of one on here so it'd be great if you could film it.

Two bathrooms together?
-
@toiletsrock44 Can You Film It?

@clonesharpshooter101 This is Mike's old apartment. Feel free to ask him about bathroom decor next time you two meet.

These and the old 3.5 gpf Saharas were good models. The All the old 3.5 saharas I've ever seen double flushed. My house that I live in now had the 1.6 gallon Saharas untill 2006. That's when I installed the Wellworths.

@FerdinandMagellan08 Yeah the Lamosa Saharah my grandmother had double flushed too. Did you have the older 1.6 model from the 80s--early 90s, or the one introduced around '94? The 1.6 from the 80s was also a great toilet. A friend of mine also has one of those. My dad used to live in a mobile home with the newer 1.6 Lamosas, which are complete garbage.

@sanders8323; Yeah, I had two 1995 Saharas in my house. The only way they would even flush was to replace everything in the tank with non-1.6gpf parts. But even then they were still clog prone. Years ago we lived in a trailer that we put a 1989 Sahara in brand new. It was the same trailer that had the Celite. The '89 Sahara was awesome. I dropped an empty toilet paper spool in `by accident one and it swallowed it without any problems.

@FerdinandMagellan08 That's amazing! My grandma replaced her 3.5 Saharah with a 1.6 Cisa toilet to cut down on the water bill. Bad mistake since the Cisa was a clog prone toilet anyway. She also replaced the other toilet at the same time, a 1963 reverse trap Dixie, with a Crane Atlas, because my 2 yr old cousin flushed his toy truck down it and it got lodged in the trap way. The plumbers couldn't get it out without breaking the porcelain. Not so bad, but the Dixie was also a great toilet.

@sanders8323 To continue this comment, the Saharah was in the house along with the Dixie when she moved in in 1990. The Saharah was an '89 model. I'm pretty sure it was a replacement to another Dixie. The house was built in the early 60s. She doesn't live there anymore though.
