  • Yeah, the straight axle is the only way to get the front up to that "nose bleed" hight!!

  • Thanks. They are a circle track header. They are perfectly flat and fit around the steering and e-brake without any modifications. I had to build the turn downs and caps to fit. Great headers to use, i see them at the swap meets all the time, now i am buying them as soon as i see them. For future projects.

  • CHEVY & GMC TRUCKS had straight axles thru 59 . 1960 they started using adjustable strut rods like the chrysler cars then went to coil springs ! ford p/u s used straight axles thru 64 or 65 ! need lots of torque & horsepower to move that tank !
