Like I said... Skates give the LEAST contribution to speed and endurance....but they do contribute, and if you didn't have the brains to get the best rig and fit them and tune 'em up perfectly to the track or course, then your performance is going to suffer. Every part of the performance equation is a fraction of the equation. "Putting it all together" is all part of your knowledge and experience base. And that is in any highly technical sport.(ex ScreamingRubber)

@ScreamingRubber yeah i agree that engine and brains is a large part. however as apolo ohno said..."you can be the fittest guy, the strongest guy and train the hardest but it means nothing if you get onto the track and you can't put it together because your equipment is holding you back" i've had first hand experience of this. trust me, if you're skates aren't right then it can jepordize your skating.

Okay, Luigino is a really good company, but so is Bont. I'm on the '09 Luigino Challenges and they rock but I think the Bont Sniper frame is the best frame I've ever had. Why does it matter which brand is better anyways? Not like the people who sell for them care so you people shouldn't! Their sponsored skaters don't try to kill eachother or anything so it shouldn't matter!
