Death Don't Have No Mercy-Rev. Gary Davis Cover

Rev. Gary Davis had this singularly powerful Piedmont blues guitar and vocal style that could cut through you like a handful of rusty razorblades.

He taught such amazing talent as Stefan Grossman, Woody Mann,David Bromberg, and Ry Cooder.

His tunes have been covered by a Who's Who of musical greatness.

If you ever get the opportunity, I strongly suggest you check out his work intact and unadulterated as he performed it.

For my part, I can only offer you my own take(such as it is) on this blues standard pioneered by the man.
