so 3ds isn't better for ds games but it has 10 x more fun games for the ads like a beast mario kart super mario zelda etc. u can't beat those games. and the 3d looks absolutely amazing. ads has a lot better features and apps. the camera's better and the screen isn't as big as xl but it's bigger than the ds i. over all ads kills. r.i.p ds i

This is more color comparison than graphics comparison ...you're playing a ds game on 3ds instead of its actual animal crossing 3ds game on which graphics are waaaay better

You can't really compare the graphics of the 3 systems with the same game. Animal Crossing: Wild World was made for the DS therefore it's graphics aren't going to be that great so it's going to look a little bleh on the 3DS. Now if you booted up a 3DS game then you would see a big difference.
My explanation wasn't so great (never have been good at explaining things) but I think I got the point across well enough.
