Glasgow Rocks have third position in the league table with a 101-92 win over Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders north of the border.

Sterling Daviss team have the third seed for the post-season after 23 points from Rob Yanders and 20 from Mike Copeland were enough for Glasgow to hold off Riders.

There was little between the teams in the first quarter with Glasgow just keeping the lead throughout. The biggest margin was 18-13 and Steve Parillons three made it 30-26 to end the period.

Another Parillon score opened the second quarter but Bradd Wierzbicki responded with a three as Riders put together a long 13-26 run to take their biggest lead of the first half at 45-52 Isaac Westbrooks scoring the last four points for Leicester.

Rocks scored the last five points of the quarter to trail by just two at the interval (50-52).

Mike Copeland hit the first seven points of the second half for Glasgow as they overturned Riders lead. A 13-1 run gave Rocks a 65-56 advantage and they peaked at 77-66 on a Rob Yanders bucket before an 8-3 Leicester tear reduced the gap to 80-74 after three quarters.

Two Yanders free throws made it a ten-point game at 91-81 midway through the final stanza. The closest Leicester could get was 97-92 on a Wierzbicki three with 32 seconds remaining.
