  • foil is a good solution and makes it more juicey, after you seal the meat wrap it in foil it will probably cook 15mins faster, good luck

  • it looks over cooked

  • @LehGil The little girl was cooking along with someone else who knew (probably one of her parents).

Even what they are doing here is a little extravagant. I work in a restaurant, and this is how we do the prime rib:

Spice rub of preference all over meat, place in oven for 25 minutes at 500+ F*, then about 20 minutes/pound of beef for medium at 365 F*.. Make sure to let it rest at least 20 minutes before cutting to allow juices to redistribute through out the meat. Cut thickly, and enjoy.

  • @garrygold123 Stabbing holes was to put the garlic in. Searing the meat locks juices inside. This is actually a very common method to cooking prime rib and pot roast. Good try tho.

  • Google 'Serious eats perfect prime rib' this info applies to all roasts. #1. Do not sear meat prior to cooking. You lose moisture this way. #2. Do not start at a high temp and go to low. #3. Room temp meat on a rack above a pan - for convection - at 200F. Roast 15-20 mins per lb. Remove meat at desired doneness. Rest 20 mins. Heat oven to 500/550 (if possible) roast for 8-10 mins for browning. Remove and eat - no further resting required. Now that is how you make a perfect roast.

  • @alquiora The weight is irrelevant. 25 minutes at 500* will sear the outside, regardless of how large it is. After that 20 minutes per pound...Could be 4 pounds or 20 pounds....20 minutes/pound sticks

  • @vvbn7890 You forgot to mention weight of the prime rib... so what's the size?

  • Music taken from Motorolla slvr9, nice.

  • too cute to be such a good cook, but i like my meat rarer. cook it 4 hrs. at 150 degrees

  • man , how too fuck a nice piece of meat up lol,you dont stab the life out of it ask any chef you want to keep the juices in , my god it was to over cooked .
