I have a feeling the writers are asking themselves 'Good God, what have we done'. How could they have possibly guessed that this character, introduced for just half a minute at the end of 3 seasons, would work out SO wonderfully with - of all people - Sheldon? Now it's impossible to even imagine this show without the odd amazing bond called Shamy.
