@sephylafudge well it is quite explicitly stated that Lestat is bisexual in the books :)
he said he found men much more interesting than women. but then after he got up from his 'rip van winkle sleep', he noticed that in the new era, women were almost as interesting and strong as men.

@sephylafudge you may be right, but keep in mind during the mid 90's homosexuality was still viewed as controversial.

@dragonofthedarknight just to support your point, In "the tale of the body thief" book Lestat mentions to his friend David, "I have always loved both men and women" so you're right Lestat's bisexual. And Louis is too, because he obviously cares for Lestat and had a thing with little Claudia. I'm pretty sure at some point he mentions "we were lovers, she and I" or something along those lines...
