Tony Morris & Friends in Concert at the Governor's Mansion & White House
Classical guitarist Tony Morris performs solo, and with flutist Renata Green, and percussionist James Fenner, in a 2002 concert at the Texas Governor's Mansion. Also included is footage from their 2002 and 2004 Christmas concerts at the White House in Washington, DC, and a live recording by Viva Trio (Renata Green, flute; Jennifer Bourianoff, violin; Tony Morris, guitar).
Produced by the Friends of Classical Guitar Alive, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the love of classical music with the guitar to the widest possible audience.
This is achieved through the production and distribution of the Classical Guitar Alive! public radio program, which is broadcast each week on over 200 radio stations throughout the US and worldwide via the internet.
The Friends of Classical Guitar Alive also hosts an outreach program which presents vibrant classical music performances at no cost to under-served audiences in hospitals, children's shelters, hospices, schools, and community centers. A public television program is in development.
