A witness captured video of two National Guard trucks attempting to drive through the streets of Manville, New Jersey after Hurricane Irene flooded the area. The water so deep that the only the vehicle's roofs can be seen at one point. (Aug. 29)

the fat gut behind the camera needs to learn army use diesel trucks which can run under water as long as water does not get inside the engine so with the air intake behind the cab high ( not exhaust dumb ass ) and high revs to push gas`s out and water out there would be no reason why they should not of tried to rescue people unlike the idiot behind the camera

I admire them trying to evac the civilian out of the danger zone. Those are some pretty badass trucks.. To the camera man, FUUUU. Yeah may not have been the most intelligent evac, but, the heli's were probably reserved for other missions in the area, and the guard has to make do with what they got..

Now these guys are exactly the reason why the US has a kick-ass military. American soldiers will risk their own lives to save other people they don't even know. Do I agree with their decision to go through? NO. But I would never criticize because I, as a vet, would have done the same. PS. I bet the guy recording is a 300-lb lard ass.
