Haunted Locations in Wisconsin

Many haunted locations exist in Wisconsin, these are ten of the more compelling stories. In order they are...

1. Witch Road, Rosendale. (Reports of strange apparitions peeking out from trees on right hand side of road near abandoned building. Strange lights as well.)

2. Abaondoned Sawmill, Oulu. (Overgrown sawmill in woods apparently spawns red, glowing dogs from the foundation and has for almost 100 years.)

3. Beaver Dam Bridge, Lowell. (Reports of blood dripping from side railings, when you spend too much time crossing.)

4. Chicken Alley, Shawano. (Sign at end of road disappears, a large tree appears only under full moons, and strange lights appear.)

5. Church Road Cemetery, Portage. (Apparition of hanging girl from one tree, shadow people moving among headstones, and strange noises.)

6. Paradise Road, Jefferson. (Possible "satanic" animal mutilation, robed figures in the trees, and screams reported.)

7. Red Bridge, Steven's Point. (Apparition of woman at approximately midnight if no lights are on.)

8. Rock island State park Cemetery, Rock Island. (Disappearing stone house in woods, along with apparitions of children.)

9. Seven Bridges/ Grant Park, South Milwaukee. (laughter, screams, apparitions, and mist between about 9:30 and 12:00 PM.)

10. Memorial Hall, Northland College, Ashland. (Female apparition which attacks men. Male apparition that appears to dislike witchcraft and pagans. Black handprints found in hallways, while computers start themselves at night and print the screen.)

I find WI kind of spooky overall. I'm not sure if it's the remoteness of a lot of places, and how they're surrounded by trees or what it is.
