My Metroid

This is The metroid I made for the make a metroid contest held on The Metroid Database. I learned of the Contest the first day it was announced and ended up finishing the day of the deadline. The first month I mainly brainstormed and shopped around for the materials and the second month was lots of trial and error. I had to change the design about 3 times but I ended up with some really cool features. One of the coolest features is the glow in the dark membrane which I was not able to capture on film or video because it simply doesn't give off enough light for it to pick up ; ; I'm sorry but you will just have to take my word for it, you can see the opaque coating of the glow in the dark paint in the light in this video so there is my only proof. Id like to thank my GF (The one in the Helmet ^-^) who kept me cool in times of frustration. Id like to thank Metroid Metal which inspired me and kept me awake through long nights. Id also like to thank Metroid Database for drawing out some artistic tallent within the Metroid fan community! See you next Mission!
