The Ozarko Music Festival Champion Band, the Berryville High School Marching Band, takes the field at the Northwest Arkansas Band Invitational held at Siloam Springs. Also known as the Siloam Springs Competition. This is the preliminaries. For the first time, the KOTO prop, known as a Torii, (large object at center field), was used in Berryvilles performance. This Torii was built by Rick Mann and it is a masterpiece. It is also a bugger to put together, (takes two scaffolds) and Rick spent many hours of his own time to build it, put it together and take it down. Thank you, Rick. The Berryville Band performed in the prelims in their usual blue and white marching uniforms that they have performed in over the past few yews. In the finals, they will wear their black KOTO uniforms. The Berryville Band received a standing ovation. NOTE: You may have noticed that nearly all of my videos are from a distance. The reason for this is because I send these videos to the Berryville Band Directors and as many of the band members as I can. Thus, they can see EVERYONE in the band, (the band spreads out as far as 55 yards apart), and any mistakes can be seen on the video. I dont shoot too many photographs because they lack two of the most important elements. Movement and SOUND. Once Berryville Band and Staff see the videos, they correct any mistakes and brings a better show the following week.
