I love those whistles on these trains, so meaty and resonant. Never heard anything quite as chill inducing apart from Sir Nigel Gresley's.

I've just turned the bass right up on my woofers and this sounds awesome! you can even hear the rumble of the oil firing. im going to spend a whole weekend watching this line from all different places.

This was a test train before the extension through to Beddgelert and the Pass opened to the public.
The track gang invited ourselves on to the train for a ride through the Aberglaslyn Pass, but we decided to jump off at Beddgelert again to chase the train to get some photos and videos as the heavy train climbed the 1 in 40 for the first time :)
The trains are certainly busier now!
