I'm still using Cubase SX3. I might upgrade to Cubase 5 sometime later this year.

Well, presets can be there as starting points or to help fill in the missing piece in the musical puzzle,or can even inspire melodies on their own!. I may be a sound designer myself but even I use(and get inspired by) great sounds created by others for my own tracks. At the end of the day all that really matters is the end piece of music and how the combo of totally original, tweaked and relatively untweaked sounds fit together, not whether all the components making it were 'keeping it real' :)

@ArksunSound Amen to that, bro :D I don't see what's up with people's hatred of Sytrus and Sylenth1, they are the best and most advanced synth platforms I've ever used. Gol and Lennar-Digital are geniuses for making them :D
