gOING pLACES wITH tONY pT. 5: fOOD tOWN mARKET

This is an homage to the LSD films of the sixties like The Trip or Psych Out. The people at this store were the nicest of all. We missed their legendary "black Santa" by one day but maybe next year. For those of you not familiar with the city of Detroit, there are no more "chain" grocery stores (Krogers, Ralphs, A&P, etc.) located within the city. There are independently owned stores like this one. This would actually be kind of a good thing if it wasn't for the fact that it's the stores boycotting the city and not the other way around.
