Michael claimed Terri would not have wanted to live this way and was determined to fulfill her wishes he said, to have her feeding tube removed. He insisted that he loved her anytime anyone from media, TV, radio, or newspaper called for an interview, and yet he never voluntarily mentioned to any of them that at the time, he had been lving with his new fiancée, their 2 biological children, and that they had been together for 8 years. Neither did he mention that only about $50,000 of the $1.3 million dollars won in Terri's malpractice suit, had been used on Terri's behalf in the first five years following the jury verdict.

Michael Schiavo expended illegally $650,000 of Terri's money not for therapy, but primarily for the lawyers he used in efforts to see Terri murdered. Over a dozen prominent doctors and therapists have stated that with therapy she could have been rehabilitated. Terri's parents had battled michael for years just to win the right to care for their flesh and blood daughter. All they wanted was Terri's guardianship to be transferred to them so that they could look after her well being in a way that assured her further joy and happiness in life. Michael Schiavo refused to grant them guardianship because he was intent on seeing her executed. The question remains- Why was it so important for him to have Terri die? It wasn't the hundreds of thousands of dollars he squandered away in paying lawyers to assert her murder, it had to be something more?


Could it have been that he, himself was responsible for her condition and that he did not want her to be able to receive any kind of therapy which might have granted her a means of communicating the account of the morning of Feb. 25th, 1990. Why wouldn't he simply go on with his new life and family, and allow Terri's parents, who loved her dearly, to simply take over her care? It seemed to me that if he really loved her, he would allow her parents and others to try and do all they could for her, why then would he fight so hard and expend so much just to starve and dehydrate her unless he had something to hide, and Terri's death meant secret kept?

The "AH WAH" came at a time when Terri was being asked to say what her wishes were--and, for some reason, the cops got in a mighty big hurry to rush everybody out of the room when this happened. Something fishy here for sure.

terris family seem like the sweetest most caring people ever, u can tell how much they love her.....the judge is going to hell for letting that fucking psychopath keep guardianship over her when he was prolly the one who put her into her disabled state

If she could eat and drink without the feeding tube, why not just feed her that way. Why is a judge able to even decide whether someone should live or die. No judge or human being should be given that power.

It was so discusting how people on the left was taking this issue on mindlessly and heartlessly against terri and her parents. how everyone was fighing to PROVE terri's life was not worth saving, and how not being able to swallow properly means "you can't survive on your own" but all her organs functioned fine and normally. It was really sick. I scoffed and criticized my peers on the left for bringing politics into this. "in my opinoin youre not worth medical attention for a. b. c." sick.

@creamygoodness420 In regard to the Terri Schiavo case, the government should not have intervened. It should have been up to the family to make these decisions, not Michael Schiavo and the courts. What Michael should have done was handed Terri back to her family and let them take care of her. Terri's parents and family members had not say whatsoever in any of this. It was all about what the husband wanted.
