Ingredients:

1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup whiskey
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons honey

Salmon fillets... up to 2 pounds (1300 grams)

Marinate for 2 hours or more.

  • you shouldn't take of the skin from the salmon

  • this marinade seems really interesting. what i'd do differently is fry them in smaller batches, and also leave the skin on the salmon and fry it almost all the way through on the skin side, and then just turn once to colour the other side. this way the skin gets really nice and crispy.
